Congratulations To:

The Research and Publications Committee is pleased to announce the funding of two research grants.  Both of these grants were awarded during the fall semester, and RPC currently has several other grants under consideration.

Congratulations to KC Coe (Cataloging), for her project entitled "Reframing Arcimboldo's Librarian." KC requested funding to cover the costs of publishing reproductions of Giuseppe Arcimboldo's paintings in articles which have been accepted for publication.  Way to go, KC!

Congrats also to Tracie Wilson, CLIR postdoctoral fellow in the Education and Social Science Library.  RPC funded her project "The Campus Folksong Club: An Oral History Project" to interview Archie Green and other members of the Campus Folksong club, as part of a project to publish a history of the club.  The tapes and transcriptions of the interviews will also be deposited in the University Archives, and her grant will purchase digital recording equipment which will be made available in the future to Library Faculty who wish to record other interviews.

RPC also granted extensions for three previously-approved grants, submitted by Mary Laskowski (Media Services) and JoAnn Jacoby (Education and Social Science) and Lynne Rudasill (Education and Social Science).
